Thanks for your quick post. I started reading more and realized that this L13 Yoga has NPCE288 chip. From what I have read it see that only with JTAG possible to unlock. Is this correct?
I don't mind trying your patch but I am concern about not able to use windows if not successful. I read that if patch is not working it might mess with the "allowed" number of password tries and will lock the laptop.
Is this correct? Or reverting back to the original dump should be fine?

Following your private message and to this reply made by you: stating your solution to unlock will work AND WILL NOT BRICK THE MACHINE AFTER I HAVE CARFULLY RAISED THIS POSSIBILTY AS VALID....
YOU WERE WRONG ....NOW THIS L13 IS BRICKED NO RESPONSE DEAD...THANKS VERY MUCH...

So far I have tried another dump from an unlock L13 Yoga Intel 10th Gen I have as well....Just to see if there will be any response from the laptop....Nothing.
It seems npce288 chip needs to be reprogrammed.
The reason leads me to this conclusion is the fact that after writing the "unlock bios" offered to me ( as mentioned above) the last stage was writing to EC...shut down and re program the original bios.....My conclusion that writing to EC messed the npce288 chip.
Does anyone have an idea? a good one based on experience would be appreciated.

Npce288 chip has a capacity of 256KB, right? And do you have the device to program it?

I believe you are referring to Jtag. Ideally Vertyanov Programmer.
I only have J-link plus segger, ulink2 armkeil, ulink2 keil and arm link plus.
Will it be possible to use Jtag via the bios chip instead of the keyboard line?
I think it is possible. If it is I am thinking of using the clip of the cheap usb programmer and its 8 pin header and try to connect this to the pins of the Jlink plus pinout.....Any idea if possible?
If it is possible as you think then re-flashing the original bios file (the locked file) it will fix the error for Npce288 (the EC file is in the original bios file).

Nice!
So my first hurdle is to find the correct pinout from the clip header to the Segger J-link plus headers....how to map it correctly.

You post the EC chip map, which is great, however if the plan is to connect through the SPI Bios chip ( hence 25q128.....) I actually think the map of this chip, which is known in any data base (Winbond or even mouser etc for example). Now in my case to map it to Segger 20 pin out header as published above.
Maybe it is not possible...I need to read more....because I do not think there is a direct access vis the SPI chip. The access to EC is starting in the next boot ( after flash)....hence might not be usable directly.

as I explained to you inbox, I have already unlocked lenovo of the same type in 10th generation processor (E15 lenovo) with bios of 16MB. when you programmed the patch what happened before you programmed the original binary
Unfortunately, not everyone here is qualified to do that. Me too.

Post an apology stating it was a wrong call of you to confirm your patch is "good working" for the L13 Yoga.
This machine cost more than $1000...YOU NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILTY and APOLOGIZE.
Everyone should see this, so the patch providers will understand to be extremely careful and not let users be guinea pigs.
I will NOT REST UNTIL EVERYONE WILL SEE THIS, I WILL POST THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN EVEN IF THIS GETS DELETED BY THE STUPID SYSTEM TRYING TO PRETEND ALL IS GOOD.....NO IT IS NOT!!!!
Ok,lets get a few things straight first and then then look at what might have gone wrong shall we.
This forum is for free help, any bios you use or any software you use etc is entirely at your own risk. There are paid services that you could have used that may have given some sort of guarantee. @dycc is an experienced member and has already pointed out that the patch has worked previously on a similar machine.
So,what might have gone wrong.
The standard ebay programmer you mentioned, what model is it ? ,what software are you using with it ?
Did you desolder the bios chips or use a clip or solder wires.
Did you make multiple backups before flashing the patched bios, and did you verify that the backups were good.
Did you use hot air to desolder the bios chips, have any resistors been blown off the board, are any of the traces damaged.
Did you solder the bios chip the right way around.
Did you verify the written patched bios, did you try reading it again and verifying.
Is there a tamper switch that presses in when you put the screws into the laptop base.
Did you try flashing the original backup again and did it verify.(There is programmer brand that will say its written and verified even though it hasn`t written anything to the chip)
