Dell Latitude 5420 - Faulty BIOS Image

Hi,

Can someone please help to generate a 'health' BIOS image for a Latitude 5420.

Chip is a Winbond 25R256JVEN wson8 - image dumped using RT809F with W25Q256FV settings as this chip isn't listed in the software (works apparently, have tried other recommended model settings, all with the same results).

Service Tag noted in file name.

I've tried both BIN file images but still the laptop isn't working.

Hoaca388, your image makes the laptop turn on, but with a black screen (no power to the screen) and the keyboard backlight illuminates. The CPU gets a bit warm and then after around 10-15 secs the laptop turns off. This repeats itself continously.

Lapfix, your simply makes the LED status light turn amber then gradually fades, but there's no activity on the laptop other than this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dell latitude 5420 corrupted bios

Hello everyone
i have received dell latitude 5420 11th (GDF40 LA-K491P REV 2.0) , coming from other shop .the original issue was 8FC8 lock .
unfortunately the technician who worked on have not read the old dump correctly , so the saved file could not be opened on FIT and gives error message .
now the laptop dont give display with this file . and with many other dumps downloaded it gives display but hung on dell logo with 6 white 3 orange light on power led .
i will upload both 32mb corrupted , 32mb hung on dell and 16mb readed correctly .
can anyone help me to repair this case .

it does not work . laptop turn on , light on screen , no display , no dell logo
i think there is a problem with 16mb dump

dell are saying that error message : 6 white 3 orange means :
flash corruption detected by SBIOS .
i dont know what means SBIOS , is it the secondary bios 16mb ?
we know that MBIOS means main bios 32mb
i think i must try to dump both bios

No, this is my fault , need repair EC region in bios file but i am working now, i will do that tomorrow.
