Hello all,
I own a Thinkpad E590, was doing your usual tinkering with coreboot, clover, and hackintoshing... Managed to hit the NVRAM Reset button, and assume I've got a corrupt BIOS now.
There is no response from the machine at all... The power button, num lock and caps lock lights come on and it just stays that way until it drains itself of battery. No backlight, fan spin, nothing.
I've purchased a CH341, and have made a backup of my current broken BIOS (attached below). I've also tried a range of other E590 images provided on this forum, from ClearMe to default images - to no avail.
Was hoping someone could be able to patch (or instruct me on how), or point me in the right direction to fix this laptop!
Here are some specifics:
Model: Lenovo Thinkpad E590 (Type 20NB, 20NC) - Type 20NB
S/N: PF-1LZ4DC
Type: 20NB-0016UK
N.B. All 3 images in the provided are the same and have been verified by checksum.
