You can see this in the below screenshots the resolution is 640x480 from WhatsApp screen share the main display is black nothing. I have full control over the window I can update/remove drivers the laptop stays on infinity after sleep.
And in the device manager, there is no gpus detecting Nvidia and AMD raedion both are not there even in hidden devices.
When I update readion and Nvidia graphic driver they show errors you can see below in screenshots.
The GPUs are not been detected (Display adapters ) Check ss below
The internal/external displays are not been detected ( Monitors ) check ss below
And regarding the auto shutoff issues I don't have any idea what is causing it the window is different I copied my 2nd laptop window in the ssd. BIOS is reprogrammed thanks to you
Nvidia and AMD drivers are failing
Remember I am doing all this using screen share and sleep it before it turns itself off.
Please help I searched the whole internet but couldn't find anything I tried everything even reprogramming the BIOSLast edited by SMDFlea; 12-12-2023, 03:56 PM.

1st video is when I don't sleep on the laptop you can see it just shuts down. It happens everywhere BIOS, Windows Installer, Windows Recovery.
2nd is after sleep. And you can my Nvidia RTX 3070 is not been detected even after uninstalling/updating anything. BIOS does detect the 3070 GPU(Image)

Legion 5-15ACH6H Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 82JU
Serial Number - PF3904NV
Mother Board - nm-d562 rev 3.0
Hello, I need BIOS as my previous BIOS is corrupted.
Issue - When I turn the laptop on the Screen in Black, only the Keyboard lights up and fan spins and after a few mins everything turns off.
The Technician working on my laptop provided me these files linked below as BIOS dumps from my laptop.
As he is not able to fix or provide me with a new bios file, I am requesting here.
Any Question is welcomed and solutions too.
ThanksAttached FilesLast edited by Prox; 01-17-2024, 09:10 AM.

Hi everyone,
First of all, I want to say thank you to all contributors, especially to the veterans of the forum for building this community and for all the great descriptions and guides you've shared, I've learnt a lot in the past few days.
However I got a bit stuck with a problem I have with the following laptop:
Lenovo Legion 5-15ACH6H - Type 82JU
Serial Number - PF30JWLD (machine info)
MB ID: NM-D562 rev 2.0
BIOS flash: Winbond W74M12JW
symptoms: no display after startup, no keyboard/backlight, power button LED lights up, aside from this nothing else happens..
It's not my laptop, so got only very little info about the circumstances when the problem popped up.
My suspicion is that a BIOS update - pushed by the Windows Update - got interrupted -> there was a new BIOS released by lenovo on 7th February, problems started a couple days later. The owner remembers that the "machine didn't shut down" , the power LED was still on (maybe the ongoin BIOS update?), so he forced the shutdown with the button..
what i tried: Removed&replaced RAM, SSD, disconnected battery, CMOS battery, long pressing power button etcetc, but no luck..
Got a CH341A, installed AsProgrammer 2.0.4.
Chip is still on the board, I used the SOIC clip, it seems to be working.
Dumped the original BIOS, see attachments.
Earlier messages suggested that the DMI is under 5AC000 - 5ADFFF -> took the original data and copied it to an earlier posted BIOS bin.(attached)
Flashed the new BIOS, verification was OK.
The fix didn't work, behavior is the same
Tried it a few more times with different BIOS files. (i didn't extract the very latest BIOS from lenovo yet)
Questions: As I learned, the W74 is an "authentication flash" (see Reveltronics forum , Winbond) and it stores a keyword *somewhere* which I assume shouldn't be lost during a reflash.. hope someone knows how this chip works and can help me to understand a few things:
1) how to tell if this security feature is active? I assume it is, otherwise Lenovo wouldn't pay for a presumably more expensive chip if they don't use the feature.. is this keyword section at a fixed address?
2) how does the "normal" BIOS update keep this data? Does it not erase the whole chip but simply overwrites the changed bytes?
2a) assuming the keyword is at a fixed location, should multi-step flashing work? Flashing the original dump + flashing a fresh BIOS without erasing the chip?
Tbh I already tried this but it didn't work, however I used the earlier provided bin files.. could it work with the newest extracted BIOS (which should partially be in my backup i guess..)
Any help would be appreciated!
BR,
Daniel
