    Dell G15 5520 LA-L655P boardview or schematics needed please

    Hi Ppls

    Working on a Dell G15 5520, motherboard LA-L655P.

    No power no LEDs; Ive tried all the basic battery disconnect, bios reset (even though it felt pointless with no charge indicator)

    There is power getting to the board as there is heat generating toward the centre of the board, which I am presuming is part of the charge controller;

    I haven't ruled out a faulty power switch so, anyone have schematics and board view for g15 5520 p105f to find safe jump points would be great, then I can work from there; or maybe you have had this issue?

    thanks in advance your help; I hope one day I can return the favour

          Apologies; I mistakenly thought that “P105F” was the sub model; I will look for some more info and look to edit or change this thread; Thanks for bringing it to my attention

              I have 19v coming in; 3.5v into the battery;

              one pin on the power switch is at 3.5v until pressed, then I can't get any Voltage to any pin on the switch; OhM abit all over the place too;

              Can I confidently call this a switch issue??
