You can check Mosfet n channel or p channel just checking names if Name ends with odd digit N channel if even P channel

Second way check Source pins( 1,2,3) and Drain (5,6,7,8) via multi meter

mosfet will conduct in one way if we put probe at Drain( Red Probe) and other probe at Source and mosfet shows value it is P channel

if shows in opposite it is N channel and if it shows values at both then mosfet is likely shorted.

        Q8804

        Q8802 DMN2027UPS_13 , It is a N channel Mosfet

Most of the time a mosfet with an odd digit is P channel, and even digits are N channel. Its up to the manufacturer what part numbers they give them, so its always better to check the datasheet .

            Re: Acer AS3EA_UMA datasheet

I agree with@smdflea that most of the time mosfet with odd marking are "P" Channel and even marking are "N" Channel. But its not universal and checking with datasheet is a must. Consider MDU1511- its odd number, so seems like P channel but its a N channel mosfet. So be sure by checking datasheet.

              Read my post carefully.

i will believe when i see a N channel mosfet with even last digit marking.

Like the most common one, 2N7002?
It doesn't matter anyway, just check symbol on schematics and datasheet.
