These are protective diodes and they are located at the AV signal input; if something was connected during lightning, then the discharge passed through this input and could kill the processor.

These diodes are close to the RCA input jacks on the board. The only port that was connected during the strike was HDMI1.Last edited by karthur; 11-28-2023, 07:58 AM.

When I tested the IC601, I get a reading with the "+" probe on the anode and "-" on the cathode. When I reverse the leads, shouldn't this now read "0" for a good diode? I get a reading >0 when I do this for both legs. Does this not mean the diode is faulty?
I tested IC601, IC602 and IC204, To me all three seem to be faulty. Am I testing these wrong?

After much searching, I finally found a datasheet on this component. This component is made by "Diodes Incorporated". This is a voltage regulator. A link to the data sheet is here.
