plasma tv picture dull every thing else seems ok no lines
light in rear marked error is on not blinking there is a blinking led
1001 on logic board most people have error code 12 so i cant
find something lick mine 2006 a found in trash tv hope to save it..

Probably X-main / Z-sustain board from symptoms described.

the pic got bright two or three times since ive had it
but no more ive removed x main board ebay has some 16-75 dollers
ill read post on testing caps

ive made an order for the X main 10 dollers from tv doctor on ebay

replaced the xmain with a used one. pic not any better
pic dull not bright looks like maybe not all pix are lit small white dots?

yes i checked some volatages they were close to spec

See if adjusting the Yrr and Yfr controls on the Y-main helps, and check the Vs, Va, Vsc and Ve voltages are at or near the specification (within 2 volts.)

the va,vs, vsc,ve were good on p/s board i dont know how to check the others
or what they shoud be.. i see two pots on y-main but no specs.

Any chance of a higher resolution picture, so I can see the text more clearly around the adjustment pots? Or just break the board into quarters and take individual shots.

i cant get much better pic ive.changed some of the vr settings
and have much britter pic big improvement..

vr5001-vr5004 all of them i had a lot of improvement
not there yet looking to do factory reset dont have sanyo remote ..
there are dip switch on t-con on says reset

im checking voltage on p/s board is VSCAN = VSC vsc should be -190 i have test point
marked VSCAN which has -245 by turning pot marked VSCAN nothing changes

It sounds like the pot or feedback circuit may be faulty - excessive Vscan can also damage your buffer boards so be careful about running it too long.

i got voltage down on vscan to-190 by a pot on y sus board now all are correct
there is a VG test point ?
