    Samsung 55" vertical Lines (UN55c7100)

I have this TV I have spent $2000.00 when it came out. I have only had it a couple years and now BOOM problems..

I have researched a little about TV repair and with the proper guidance I feel I can fix this. I have done repair on laptop screens in the past, not many but just a couple.

So I have this couple of vertical lines down the screen, depending on what the picture is, it will change from a teal, to purple to green, black or white. There is another line that comes and goes a little further to the right, sometimes its there, some times it goes away.

See the picture here, reference - http://imgur.com/P8iuLMG

    Please help!

I think that would be a defective LCD panel, in other words not repairable. Very common with Samsung LED TVs. This is probably the third this week, plus one myself I went to see (LE32D550.)

A small chance it is a tab bond fault.

Sorry but I have to concur with Tom. The only possible way to repair the TV is by replacing the panel itself and that just isn't cost effective.

Sorry we are the bearers of bad news.

Yea I been reading that its either a bad panel or bad tcon board. I was hoping it was the 30 dollar part. Is there anyway to diagnose which to be sure?

A t-con board would not cause this fault.
