Sony 49XH9505 four flash of death

    Hello,
I own a Sony 49XH9505 123.2cm Smart Android 4k quite new bough brand new in 2021. Just after the warranty has expired it had died on me.
The symptoms are the following: right after turning on backlight turns on and this loading screen appears, than the display turns off and the red led flashes four times.
Any idea how to fix it or if it at least fixable? Does this sign related maybe some SoC/DSP and its circuits or just some simple power supply issues somewhere ?

    Many thanks in advance,

Red led flashes four times - Balancer Error. Most likely the backlight is faulty, disassemble the panel

Thanks for the answer! So you suppose one or more leds in series are in short/open?

This doesn't mean it's the LEDs. It means its LED circuit. Yes one can be open, BUT the code says it could be any of the 4 things listed. If you can test with multimeter and have a led tester that'd be your be bet before replacing the LEDs (I made that mistake before). Open the back and take a picture of whole thing together and each board.

              Hello,

EasyBone: I have attached the pictures

Since last time I have tried the "easy" solution I have found on youtube, cutting and grounding the BL_ERR pin but no success. When i first started up the tv with this modification it booted up and stayed in the language selection menu for 2-3 seconds, than the 4 red blinks.

Edit: " *I have tried to find the schematic of the led driver board but with no results. - also, i have tried to unplug the ribbon cable on the right side of the board that goes to the main logic board - the tv still boots up and than crashes with 4 / 6 blinks. "

              Thank you guys in advance,

So undo that ground out if you haven't already, with everything hooked up as normal, turn on tv, or if it won't turn on, just check the voltages of the pins of connector 6401, might have some pain getting the bottom ones/odd numbered, can probably skip the grounds but report all the other voltages here.
Quit due to disrespect from unpaid sta,ff.

6401 is probably fine, I suspect 6501 voltages. Something from led driver board or psu leading to it. Obviously should be checking all voltages from each connection.

So what's the delay, you have no multimeter? If not then probably best you can do is replace boards or backlights and hope.

He wants a diagram so that he can look at it intensely

Dude, knock off the second guessing me, you are far from an expert in tv repair, so without proof of what is wrong, just save it.

Why you always so angry on here.

4 blink. Led circuit. PSU led connector. Seems like a place to look at.

Not angry at all, nobody likes a second guesser on their case, so don't be like a few of the nit-wits here, we already have enough of those types. You are from the U.S.A so you should know proper etiquette, like instead of contradicting someone, just say why don't you also try testing whatever it is you think, not BS like uhh that is fine so it is this that's wrong, understandable to you? And even you should know that this connector is where most testing should start.
