Reattaching new edge to edge LCD panel to tv frame - Hisense 55a6g and others

Some new tvs have an LCD screen attached to the outside of the frame with foam tape. These are "edge to edge" as they are called. I am trying to figure out how to reattach an LCD panel back up to the frame. The manufacturer used 3/16 inch foam tape along the top and rh/lh edges. I used a razor blade to separate the panel from the metal frame. The metal frame that the panel is taped to is 1/4 inch wide along the 2 sides and top. I completely removed the residue from the metal frame. There is some residue on the panel itself along the 3 edges, I removed almost all of it using alcohol and rubbing the residue off. After replacing the LED strips, what is best to reattach the panel? Foam tape cut down to 3/16 wide? Liquid nails along the 3 sides? Thanks for your input!
