Maybe replace C141, looks like .1uf 50 volt. I don't see C141 on your board are there any .1uf 10 volt caps on it?

Changed the green caps on the A1020 PSU and it started to work. Forgot it on over night and the display is bright again. Those caps were Samxon's and not within their values.
The A1060 is totally dead, even the mechanism is not working, tried it in the other unit. Click image for larger version

Totally dead, start with checking the fuse, F1.

Didn't see any green caps, can you highlight them on the picture? It may help someone else with the dim issue.

C21, C33, C32, C1 and C2 were changed. So far it's working with a DVD, I have no Bluray discs yet.

And did you check the fuse on the dead one?

It had some voltages in the PSU output.

Ok, answer a couple simple questions, does this player have buttons on it or is it only workable with a remote, you are sure that the remote you received is the one that goes to that player? Do you have a way to test capacitors, if so test them all. If you have not yet test all resistors and diodes on top of board. Now you say you have some voltages, can you tell us the voltages from the connectors, report all of them, in similar format, pin F+ and whatever voltage is there and whatever the expected voltage should be as labeled, F- the voltage of it, gnd which should have no voltage of course, -24 voltage etc. etc. for each pin of the connectors. If you have already done some of these tests just say so, it takes way too much time to keep going back over and read every post.

I dismantled the whole unit, all caps tested were ok, (not every cap measured). The mechanism was also dead as it didn't work in the other player. The remote control is for the A1060, but I can use it with the A1020. Any button on the front panel didn't work, and it made no sound, unlike the A1020 which can be heard after power on, now its display also work..

Thanks, and how about those voltages, with the actual and the expected as seen on the legend/map markings.

All voltages in 0,1-0,2 in tolerance, but the -24V to front panel was missing.
