    Samsung UE75TU6905 reboot loop

I have a Samsung UE75TU6905 from 2021, with a maximum of 10 hours of usage as it has been used as a presentation TV in the office. It started rebooting, the picture disappears, the sound continues for 2-3 seconds, and then it restarts (Samsung logo with Tizen OS), after which it returns to the previous activity. I tried disconnecting HDMI, antenna, WiFi, and using different power outlets, and it seemed to improve (or so I thought). Before, it happened occasionally, but now it happens all the time, so the TV stays on for a maximum of 30 seconds.

I read on Samsung's website (reviews) that everyone has the same problem right after the warranty expires. Since the TV is relatively new (barely used), I was considering whether I could repair it. Samsung wants 200 euros for an inspection, plus 300 euros for labor costs, and then additional material costs.

I was wondering if there is something I can do myself? I intend to troubleshoot whether it's the power cord, backlight, or motherboard, but how should I proceed after that? Does anyone know what the usual issue is and whether it's worth trying to repair it myself?

I always try a simple reset first, unplug tv from power, hold power button on tv down for 30 seconds, wait 2 minutes plug tv back in and try it.
Quit due to disrespect from unpaid sta,ff.

Does that mean you tried the one I just typed, There's no sense in trying to help someone that can not follow direction. When every little test is a chore to get done, then I have to let others help, as my patience is short today.

Sony, when is the last time someone came here, did your reset and was like it's fixed! And left?

So what you can do is disconnect the main board from the PSU and plug it in. The backlights should come on and stay on. This eliminates PSU/backlights circuit.

Unfortunately rebooting means the TV panel has shorted on Samsung somehow. If Samsung gives you a quote of 200/300/parts then you should throw that TV away cause it's the most expensive part, the screen and will likely cost you more then the TV is worth. It'll be 200/300/600. Doesn't Europe have consumer protection laws or something?

You can Google, fixing TV with tape. Look at a video (or a thread on here that shows how) and test that way. If it works, likely it's the panel and you are effed.

Sorry, yes it means that I also have tested that one and it did not solve the problem.

But it won't solve it, the problem in the “NU” series, as always, is connected with a malfunction of the panel, mass defects.

Pay attention and do your research, that simple reset has fixed TONS of tvs, so why ask such a stupid question?? I know you're an eager beaver but there's still VOLUMES that you don't know.

So can you help him troubleshoot OR do you just want everyone to know that YOU know what's wrong? As in help op prove the panel is bad, because not ALL are bad and if you don't prove it, well then it's just another GUESS.

And if, according to your method, you hold the button for 30 seconds and the panel will be restored and the TV will work?

Well you are not as bright as you imagine, are you. I'll explain a little something that good techs have known forever. ALWAYS start with simple things, if you can not grasp this concept then you must have issues. You have some knowledge BUT you are kind of only on a single thought path, which isn't a good path for troubleshooting. No matter the issue you first jump on it must be firmware related, well guess what...it isn't always the case. If you figure something semi intelligent to ask, feel free BUT if it's going to be the same as you and ezbone just asked, don't bother. So no more inquiries ok.

EasyBone suggest you to disconnect the socket between mainboards and power boards.... see if the LED backlight come on and remain on..

you used the Tv as presentation..as you said... with which source ? HDMI or USB ?

from yours fault description it show the logo then Tizen then make reboot... this mean after Tizen usually the set with switch on the last source where it working on.... so if it was HDMI it could the source switch damaged or it set on solution which TV didnt understand it... try trik the TV to put it in STBY and from STBY state call service menu from there do hard reset.

or use the last source input with content low resolution not 4K lower you have even if 480p

                                        • Method 1: INFO → MENU → MUTE → POWER – usually works for European models of Samsung TVs and also works with some LED TVs in the US.
                                        • Method 2: MUTE → 1 → 8 → 2 → POWER – suitable for TVs in the USA.
                                        • Method 3: DISPLAY → P.STD → MUTE → POWER.
                                        • Method 4: SLEEP → P.STD → MUTE → POWER.
                                        • Method 5: DISPLAY → MENU → MUTE → POWER.
                                        • Method 6: MUTE → 1 → 1 → 9 → POWER.
                                        service menu codes
