    no power supply for philips tv

    I had a friend give me a Philips 42pfl5432d/37 with no power supply. He had took it to a shop and they had pulled the board and told him it was bad and gave him a price he did not like to fix it. When he picked it up they did not give him the old board. I would like to test the tv before I spend the money for a new board. I have power supplies up to 24v and if someone can provide me with a pin out for the connectors I will test it. Can anyone supply me with a diagram?

      so the shop STOLE his psu?

        With those Philips sets, you have to use the correct PSU. There's many different supplies that come out of them, that you cannot just 'jury-rig' up with bench supplies...

        Go back to the shop--and Insist they return your property, or expect legal action!
