    Ok the voltage regulator is correct MAX chip must have been in another thread or even another forum - sorry for wasting your time .
    The AS15f chip is a common failing on this and other T cons lately - that is what we were trying to test but I have not seen anyone come up with zero. So if you are able to replace it you could try that otherwise it is board replacement time
    Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

        Thanks selldoor - Jimmy's does not have the board in stock but I think I have found a used one. I'll let you know if it fixes the problem.

            Turned out the board was not available and then the TV fell and I broke the small board on the side. I put it back together and have begun a search for a "parts TV". Thanks to all for the help. This is a great forum with some very good members! Thanks again.

                I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

                Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

                I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

                The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

                With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                - sound and backlight, but no picture
                - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                - it keeps rebooting
                - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).

                I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

                Hello everyone,
                Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
                The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
                He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
                I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
                Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...
