    Panasonic TX-P50V10B Power Supply ETX2MM747MF-K V7

    Hi,

My Panasonic TX-P50V10B stopped powering on - no standby light. Although I did notice that if I switched the mains power on and off a few times it would sometimes power up into standby and work fine when switched on.

I've inspected the power supply board: ETX2MM747MF-K V7

All looks clean, no swollen caps or signs of overheating anywhere. Fuses all OK. Tried pulling the two biggest caps anyway, but one tested at almost rated value and the other was only 5% under so put them back.

I read that standby voltage should be present on pin 9 of connector P25 - tested that with everything plugged back in and got 0V.

So it does look like a bad power supply. I've reached the end of my limited diagnostic knowledge, so unless anyone has a bright idea I'll try replacing the board next.

Can you please help me sourcing a replacement? I've tried a few searches but not found a stockist so far.

    Thanks

    Ian

Thanks for the help kasfamily. Following the chart, yes I've got mains into the power supply board, fuses are all fine, but no standby 5V (assuming I'm testing that correctly - pin 9 on P25).

Sorry, slight correction, I've tested five of the fuses mentioned (F351 F501 F601 F602 F603) but I could not find F201 on the board.

Yes F201 nowhere else mentioned, probably a bug in the manual

ijam - how did you get along with your repairs ?

I have the same board in my THP50G15A with the same problem - no LED at all

Tested the AC supply which was fine and now need to test the board

see if this guide helps. there's a no power section. If the standby voltages are present then it's a fair chance it's the A board as that is what turns on the front led
