Panasonic ZT60 - 1" Off Colored Vertical Stripe On Right Side Of Screen

I'm curious as to an off colored greyish vertical stripe that I have on the very far right of the ZT60's screen. I really only notice it during my hockey games. It's like 95% of the screen is a nice clean white ice and then that last far right of the screen is an off colored greyish looking dirty ice. It's a thin 1" vertical strip. My friends and family can't notice it but I do and it bugs me. Could it be burn in from the previous owner? Wondering if this is a board / ribbon issue or the plasma display issue? And what are the possible solutions?

don't panic, on the PC WINDOWS for example, with paint program great JPEG 256 color white image. pass the pixel as high yours Panasonic support. and copy it on USB and play it on urs TV, check if the line there or not.

use this test jpg, extract them on USB and play them on your Panasonic, if there no line on yours screen then forget to do any things,, .. if you do noticed the line then you need to be ready for worse later.

Unfortunately the closer you get the harder it is to see the vertical stripe. I'll try again tonight though. If you look at the left side of picture #1 you can see an off colored dirty blue about an inch thick and goes all the way from top to bottom.

Looks to me like image burn or possibly ine of the Cof address drivers has a lose connection going to the panel so possibly try reseating them.

Ok good! Where is the Cof Address driver located? In looking at my service manual I've got C1, C2 and C3 running from left to right across the bottom. This is looking at the TV with the back open. I'm assuming since C1 is located on the side of that stripe then that would be the one that needed to be cleaned and reseated? I've attached a Service Navigation Menu for the 2013 Pannny Plasmas.

Be sure to do this while unplugged and giving time for caps to discharge.

For sure, I will definitely unplug it and wait an hour before I start messing around back there. I'm still confused though? Should I unplug the connections going into the C1 Data Driver since the hazy vertical stripe is on that side? And what would I clean it with? Wish there was a video I could look at so I don't screw anything up back there.

I did run my screen wipe a few times and it seemed to help somewhat but not completely.

I did run my screen wipe a few times and it seemed to help somewhat but not completely.

Well I'm glad to finally meet another ZT60 owner that has the same weird vertical dirty line on the right side of the screen. Yeah I only notice during whiter screens like sky or hockey ice or light green or light blue. Almost gives it a darker looking color. A couple of people on the AVS forum said that this is common with the ZT60 but I find it unacceptable. When I get a chance I'm going to take the back panel off and reseat the ribbon cables that go from the panel to the C1, C2 & C3 boards that are along the bottom. Like ReeceyBurger123 said.......maybe it's a loose connection? Cant hurt to try. I've been watching a lot of videos on you tube and it seems very simple.

Yeah seems common on Panasonic Plasma the address buffer connector to the bottom left hand sides of the screen always seem to break lose. I did a TX-P50G10B the other day same issue simple to fix but stupid. Maybe contact Panasonic and tell them your unhappy and want it sorting ?

Can't wait to find time and rip it open! Lol! Is it okay to touch the ribbons with my bare hands or shoykd I get sterile gloves? Thinking the oils from my hands might not be good for the boards and components in there? Yeah I called Panasonic and they were gonna send a tech out that charged a $100 just to look at it. I'd rather get myself first especially if it's as easy as this sounds. Panasonic would probably work it out where they'd give me their new AX900 but I don't want LED. I love my ZT60. I have a 4K Sony 79X900B LCD/LED edge lit TV and it doesn't even come close to how beautiful my plasma is. So I've gotta do what I can to make this one last.
