Haha, looks like the Dvr to me. Does the monitors menus have the distortion on them when you open them ?

Here is a photo of the inside of the DVR recorder
I have another DVR recorder and it shows the right way with no line or anything that not suppose to be there

I have a question about ordering the surface mount cap on this board I want order them from Digikey what would the part number be for one of them
They used very good brand KY
This DVR recorder is about 10 years old

                  7G ?
                  220 uf
                  6.3. Volts

I'd first try another video source to be sure which device is faulty.I know that DVR's are famous for electrolytic capacitors to fail.So I change them all and use good quality Low ESR capacitors, plus if the capacitor is say 330UF 10 volt use a 330UF 16 or 25 volt capacitor in its place if possible.Just be sure that the replacements upgraded capacitors can fit the circuit and housing etc before purchasing them.

Already try heating the board with hair dryer (cap's ESR goes down with higher temperature)? Looks like artifact due to poor power supply filtering.
