Got a nice LG in...
With everything hooked up, I get backlights but no image..
That tells me that the Power PCB and the middle (Inverter??) board are probably doing their jobs...
There is no TCON board. The Main board LVDS cables (pair) go directly into the display panel's "buffers"??...
Now, when I unhook the right LVDS cable, I do get the normal LG image on half the screen.. It appears to be faint, but I am thinking that is likely just due to a menu setting as opposed to an indicative problem..
A replacement Main Board is spendy, but worth it if it fixes the TV.. But if it's the panel buffer that's bad, then I don't want to waste the $$$ on a replacement Main board..
