Hi,
I have a Samsung PN50B450B1DXZA that has a Y Sustain board LJ41-05905A (also marked LJ92-01601A).
Initial problem was that it would not turn on. The two FDA59N25 and two IRFP4332 mosfets were replaced, U5013 - IRS21856S, D502 - Zener diode.
The problem is that the 3 ohm resistor - R5067 burns open every time the set is turned on and the Vsc voltage isn't correct.
Does anyone have a diagram of this board or can tell me what it's connected to? Any common failures that would cause the resistor to fail?
The 6.2 ohm resistors are ok. The Va voltage is adjustable to the spec of 55 volts, Vs is ok at 210 volts, Ve is ok at 88 volts.
The Vsc is bad. Should be -193 and its around -43.
The R5067 is shown on one of the photos with a red arrow pointing toward it.
In one photo the top of the cap looks like it's bulged - it is not. Must be the lighting. I've pulled all the caps in the vicinity and checked them for value and ESR.
