LG 42LN5200-UM vertical bars

Turn on TV, displays these wide vertical bars. Thinking bad TCon, got a new one from shopjimmy. Just put it in, and still doing same thing. Assuming now either bad main board or bad bonding to the panel. Here is a pic. TV was located in an enclosed outdoor porch.

Looks like a TAB Bond issue. The Main Bd could be faulty as well. Do you have access to an oscilloscope? So we could see if LVDS signals are being output from the Main Bd into the T-CON Bd.??

No scope. The bars do coincide with using the remote, i.e. no bars when first turned on. Hit menu on the remote, those bars show up. Try to blindly navigate menu, bars change.

Almost certainly a panel issue of some kind.
