    Finlux 43utd297b-p won't turn on

    Hi everyone,

The red standby light is on however it doesn't switch on from the remote or the buttons on the TV.

I have replaced the power board inside which is the Vestel 17ips72 and the same problem is there. I couldn't find a schematic though to actually test the board works so any help with what pins to measure against would be very helpful. I'm not sure what to replace and how to know when something is fried.

Bit of back story is the cat urinated on the corner and it hasn't worked since. The TV was only a month old when it happened too... brutal.

If there's any more info people need let me know and ill get on it ASAP.

Start by attaching some good clear pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards, also the area where the cat did the business.

Re: Finlux 43utd297b-p won't turn on

Attached are the photos of the TV boards.

The bottom right corner is where this business was made. There is a card with a small amount of rust so I take it this is the correct area.

However, upon a quick google search, it shows that is just the Wifi card for the TV so I disconnected this and the TV would still not power up. Indicating this is not where the problem lies.

As you can also see from the photos there's a strip which runs behind where this card is and I have no idea what that does or if there has been any damage to this.

Could this also be as simple as the switch for the TV has been damaged so won't turn on as that is also in the area of impact?

I would guess the cat pissed on the panel and it damaged the board that connects the panel to the t-con. Try disconnecting the LVDS cable from the t-con board and see if the tv turns on.
What is with that board between the plastic and metal frame in the last picture, that does not look right, did you remove it?

YEP...definitely looks like CATPISS is the main culprit here.

MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX (MS-16R6) LAPTOP WON'T TURN ON AFTER RESTARTING
                  by RdeveLabs
                  To all the members here...

Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.

So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off. But...

Acer Aspire 4520 won't turn on after reboot
                  by robante15
Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 4520 from a couple of decades ago and I want to repair it solely for nostalgia.

It happens that when I turn it on after having been disconnected for a long time, it turns on without problems, it tells me that the BIOS has been reset and that it will load the factory settings, if I tell it to continue, the computer turns on and everything works fine.

The moment I turn it off and want to turn it back on a second time, or restart it and try to start it again, it no longer gives an image, and it no longer responds.

                  If I remove the...

                  Hi everyone,

I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.

The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.

The system does not turn on, there is no post.

I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
The problem continues in the same way.
I tried to turn on the Fn key, nothing came to the screen....
