    Sony KDL-46EX640 Green power Light no picture

    My friend dropped it off and asked me to look at it. Like the title says. The power button works. The TV turns on but no light no flicker. Nothing at all. Also, check out the grey wire. It's burnt. The board says it's the power wire to the main board. Any ideas?

      If a TV turns on with no backlight, the backlights are the first suspect and I will get out my LED tester to do some probing. Usually I can power the backlight separately with the tester and turn the TV on to check the screen before ordering new strips.

      Is the power-on wire still making a connection? This will be a logic signal from the main board to turn on the power supply.

          Im hoping someone might be able to give me some idea of what may be wrong with my Monitor Audio RSW12 Sub.

          Ive owned it since new in around 2002, so would really like to keep it running if I can, it was the first ‘decent' bit of audio equipment I ever purchased and is a little sentimental.

          The issue I had was that it would power up with the red light, but sometimes the green light would not come on and I would get no bass from it. If the green light did come on though, I would get sound out of it.

          Hi

          I have an 820-2610-A motherboard that has no green light.
          I have noticed is when I do a SMC reset the light on the Magsafe blinks.
          From My understanding, the sys onewire circuit is responsible for the green light on the magsafe
          The sys onewire circuit on this model and others is more involved
          I was hoping if anyone knows about this and how it works, can reply and let me know
          I know this is an old model but I am sure there are people who still works on these or knows about them

          I get 1.1v on the C7771 capacitor and will replace...

          We came one evening & realized this problem when tried to turn on the TV (SONY KDL-52ex700), there has been, no sound, no picture, no click sound (for backlight).
          Here is the sequence I have checked so far.
          1. Pressing the Energy saving switch button, TV used to turn ON green light, get backlight click sound & used to show Sony logo with sound
          - None above happen anymore. No green light, No sound, no picture, No backlight
          2. Pressing the power switch button...

          hi guys, i need your help again...i have tcl u65x9006. while i was watching it become darker like when a movie ends, little by little the image disappear. now if i turn on i have back light on, after like 1 min i have also sound but no picuture. the back light is on i take off one at time the ldvs but nothing change always no picture. i tried to cover with a piece of paper the pin of ldvs i cover like 7 8 pins but nothing worked. the tv stay with no picture. there is a tcon board.i checked the voltage there on the fuse i have 11,8 volts. there is caps in shorts on the exit of the tcon i have...
