got 5 v sb rest dead turn on tv got all voltage that are supposed to be there 12v 5v etc.

Does ETC. mean the BL-ON?

THIS RIGHT HERE "What does the BL-ON voltage do on CON4" they want you to check the voltage on that pin, when tv is in standby and powered on, it's really pretty simple.

Make sure all the backlight connections are clean and not loose and have no resistance.

Did you measure the voltage on the big cap both in standby and powered up? CAREFUL HIGH VOLTAGE, for those looking on that might not know.

no not sure on how to do that. Are you talking about the big black cap on the hot side? there is only one that I can see

The voltage across the main filter (EC101) will be the same in standby or ON (165vdc) there is no pfc circuit.

not sure but some of your solder joints look a little suspect on that board, might want to touch them up a little.

Don't see any I got a different board today its doing the same thing joints on this board looks good

Since you have the panel off, power up the led's with the TV's power supply and not if any led's are not the same brightness before it shuts down.
The backlight tester only provides about 10~15 ma of current and also does not monitor the current like the power supply board does, I suspect a led is failing when provided with a higher operating current.
