With tester all lights lite at same brightness . when hooked up to power board lights don't come on
voltage drops at connector

If you have voltage at the connector you should have at least a flash of the led's

did you check the leds individually? might give a clue.

thinking most of the time, that one flash means bad backlight led/s or poor backlight connection.

Don't know how to put more power to them other the tester that will tell

when testing with backlight tester, did you test thru the backlight cable going to the backlights or right on the strips, meaning did you verify continuity of the cable?

Don't see any I got a different board today its doing the same thing joints on this board looks good

You had 0v at led connector with old board and now you have voltage at led connector with new board. Correct? And now you get a flash of backlights?

Yes but voltage drops off

Ok then you need to do what was suggested in post 40.

Reopened it and tested each led found 1 bad (dead)trying to locate a new strip
IC-A-KJAB46D444 (8 leds on strip)

flashes to fast to tell if brightness is different
