Hey everyone, I came across this site about a year ago while trying to repair a friend's TV, turns out a few of the LEDS had burned out and needed to be replaced. Thanks to you guys I seemed like a genius lol!

I am semi-retired hardware tech that still loves to fix ANYTHING electronic,
I live in Southern Oregon and was in business for 30 years in San Diego, California. I have an appetite to tear all electronics apart. I am self taught and have most of my test equipment left from my computer business. I can handle through hole tech and SMT soldering, I am very much into Super capacitors. I have been a phone support tech for the last 8 years and work out of California for a large Corporation. Like most of you I get most of my parts online now, I used to get most of my caps from Mouser electronics in San Diego, My store was not too far from there.
