I am Ross, from Buckden, St Neots, England. Like most of you joined to try to fix something! Soldering skills limited to minor electronics, but the larger items I am lost with! My background is in software development (Delphi, C#, Java, etc), hopefully I'll be able to help people!

Hello there, my name is Jackson. I am a security auditor and researcher from Georgia (U.S.A.). I specialize in wireless penetration testing for large corporations, and also offer MacBook/laptop/desktop/iPhone/Android/etc. board repair. I also do chip-on, chip-off, and HDD data recovery, along with various other repair services. Basically, if it has electrons flowing through it, I can always try to repair it; you'll never know if something can be fixed unless you try to fix it!

I've gotten so much out of reading this board, and figured it's time to stop lurking and contribute to this community. Anytime I've have a component related issue or question I couldn't figure out, searching through the Badcaps Forum is my first (and usually only) stop.

Hello all. I am not new to electronics as I have spent years tinkering with raspberry pi's and arduinos as a hobby and have made some nifty little gadgets over the years. With the current state of everything going on in the world and local repair businesses shutting down I found the need to start repairing my own electronics. My first project is my def tech prosub 60 just stopped working. So the journey begins.
