I am an electronic engineer by degree, a specialist systems engineer by trade and literally a nothing from a true hands on electronics person. You have to laugh.

computers I have used all the way from the BBC micro, Sinclair spectrum (48k), amiga 1200, then I moved onto versions pcs from the pentium 2 onwards (didn't have the cash for anything earlier). Built a fair few of desktops, owned a number of laptops. Consoles I have worked from the mega drive (cd), Xbox, Xbox series X. Recently got a steam deck.
