Hello all, I am a new member, I came across this forum by accident searching for a circuit diagram. I'm in New Zealand, I'm 70 and retired from full time work but still do all sorts of repairs that nobody else will do. I started out as TV and Radio apprentice moved into a government research facility and then into the computer industry where I stayed for 30 years. I took redundancy from IBM and worked out my final few years before retiring doing all sorts from setting up eScrap Yard management software to repairing espresso machines. Since retiring I have repaired medical lasers, chandeliers, Car modules, stereo's, CNC monitors you name it ( except RF ) I've likely had some experience with it. Most lately I was working for a tech start up wiring switch boards. I have a very good mechanical workshop and a separate electronics area so I can do most things. Luckily I can maintain most things around the house including the cars, good thing as I couldn't afford to pay somebody else.
nice to meet you.
I work as a software engineer, but I enjoy electronic work as a hobby.
I've been a Thinkpad user since TP701, and I still get broken Thinkpads and repair them.
I don't have as much knowledge as everyone on this forum, but I would like to share some good information.
