Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and excited to join the community. I've just started exploring the world of electronics and have a lot to learn. I'm eager to gain knowledge, improve my skills, and exchange ideas with experienced members here. I'll probably be asking a lot of beginner questions, so I appreciate your patience in advance! Looking forward to learning from you all and hopefully contributing in the future!

Hello Badcaps-people,
I´m currently learning the basics of electronics repair and can´t stop after some relatively fast success. I was able to repair an Iphone 6 with a short on the logic board thanks to a schematic from here and after lots of learning about electronics basics and watching a lot of tutorials from people, who repair for a daily basis. So now I´m hooked and want to get some experience, since I have time to learn at the moment! And it seems to me, that badcaps is a very good place to continue my jurney

Hello everyone,
Let me introduce myself.
56 years old, I fell into the computer soup at a very young age (having started with electronics):
ZX80
TO7
Atari 800XL
New Brain
Amstrad 6128
Amiga 500
Amiga 1200
Many PCs that I have upgraded
My job is WEB developer
But in my spare time I repair appliances, mostly household appliances.
I create musical compositions using Logic Pro (hackintosh Sonoma)
A jack-of-all-trades, as soon as it's technical, I'm at ease.
And at my age, I still assemble my own PCs ^^.
(sorry for Translated )

New Member here!
My name is Remy, working with Data Erasure software on the OEM side.
Working between Customer and Dev. team.
We come across a lot of types of hardware, and with that a lot of various type of challanges.
Locked BIOS/UEFI and locked drives are 2 of them.
My Skills are Linux, Bash, bit of Java, HTML (and related languages) and obviously Data Wipe/Erasure.
Just need some help here and there with some challanges, but surely helpfull to help anyone out where I can.
Cheers!

Hi Everybody.
I'm Uio and been an electronics hobbyist since I was 14. Long time ago. Then I made it as an mechatronic engineer and dug into programming and automation integration.
Fixing stuff is still on my bench and from time to time laptops are hanging there for a while. Love to learn more and see it working.
Glad to join.
Cheers!
