I like beer. I am a fan of old 1970's Mercury inline 6 cylinder outboard motors. I have had a few and enjoy bringing them back to life. I recently was checking the ignition on a 1964 65Hp , I hooked up the Mercury ignition analyzer the wrong way and damaged the unit. I cant find a schematic for the tester so I will have to stumble my way through , hopefully with some help from this forum. I need to work out where to start. I have the power light come on but the switch is a bit hit and miss so that will be my first fix. The unit has some self test modes but these are not working . Any help is appreciated as I have little knowledge but am prepared to learn.I have been watching All you need to know to fix stuff on YouTube and this is a great series. Cheers Nev
