Hi everyone, my name is Glorito Jr. . I'm a guy from the Philippines who is an avid tinkerer of all things electronic and personal computers. I joined this site because I want access to schematics and other useful information to be used in repairing these devices. Gladly want to share some of my experience in repairing the same things like most of you do.

Hello all,
Back in 87 I graduated in EET and immediately jumped into IT technology and have been doing that ever since. With that said, I've always had a love for technology and regularly work on various types of tech from my own auto's to audio equipment and computer systems. A real hodgepodge of things throughout the years.
recently I made a post to a group on facebook and one of the suggestions was to check out this forum I've been impressed with the knowledge here so I decided to join up. Hopefully, I can add something to this group.
Thanks for the ad.

Hi, my name is Anton, and I'm from Ukraine.
I'm a bit of a geek—I play Fortnite, ran my own YouTube blog for 5 years (deleted it), love computers, and enjoy engineering (though my skills seem low compared to others here). Wishing everyone a great mood!
My English is bad, sorry.
Athlon 2800 → Ryzen 5500.

Hello Everyone,
I am excited to join this amazing forum where like-minded tech enthusiasts share and learn from each other.
A little about me:
I am a laptop engineer specializing in BIOS-related issues, such as resolving no-display problems, fixing serial number errors, and debugging other complex BIOS-related challenges. I have been working in this field for several years, and my passion lies in understanding the intricate details of hardware and firmware to bring systems back to life.
Like many of you here, I started by tinkering with old laptops and desktops, and over time, it grew into a full-fledged career. My primary goal here is to learn from experienced professionals and, where possible, share my knowledge to help others facing challenges in this domain.
I believe in maintaining professionalism and adhering to community guidelines, and I am here to contribute positively to this platform.
Thank you for creating such a space, and I look forward to interacting with all of you! 😊
Best regards

acer chromebook CP514-1H model:N20Q2
motherboard : DA0ZBLMBAG0 rev:G
serial : NXA4AAA0062270268B7600 snid: 22700986776
amd ryzen 3
When I press the power button, I see that a blue light turns on, but the screen remains black. I've tried common fixes, such as pressing the power button for 10 seconds, holding the power button down while holding the refresh button, increasing screen brightness, but to no avail.
