Hello everyone! I'm new here, but I've been interested in electronics since childhood. I like to solder something and repair equipment, that's why I'm here. My first computer was with Windows 95. I remember when I first reinstalled the system on it, it was interesting. Now I work as a technician in a small repair company, I have some experience, but I also plan to learn something new, understand circuits better. Thanks everyone.

There have been one-too-many instances in my life in which a better understanding in how motherboards and bioses are handled could have helped, so there I am!

Hello my name is Deryck Stidham and I think I like what I see so far on your page. I have always been a seeker of knowledge and when I do something I go all in. Do you guys help with bios mods by chance? That's not the only reason but it's one thing I want to learn to do. How to take a bios dump and modify it to unlock the bios. I only want to do it on ones that are out of warranty and I think Lenovo should let you once the warranty is up, at that point they don't have to repair for free or what not and I have thought about doing a hackintosh on my T440p just so I can say I have done it. But I want to squeeze all the performance I can out of them, if they get hot as a result I can always add heat tubes to dissipate the heat. I want to learn to replace chips and ports on a board so I can purchase them cheap and repair them. Thanks and hope to learn more about what all you guys have to offer and I love talking computers.

I'm Lee and I just retired and have gotten back into a hobby I had when I was a teenager - playing with electronics. Of course, I understand a lot more now than I did back then.
