Man was I happy to find this forum! A little bit about me: My professional electronics background is based in general and corporate aviation Avionics (now retired). I live in Rancho Cordova, a city outside of Sacramento, California. I hate the throw away mentally and love keeping things going, especially electronic based items and as we know, to have a fighting chance of fixing complex electronics you have to have a schematic. I was in search of a schematic for my Dell Venue 11 Pro 7130 tablet/laptop and a link to BadCaps.net led me here. I'm looking forward to being part of this excellent forum.

Hello from Sweden!
I'm a 50+ guy living in Stockholm Sweden. Electronics is not my strong suit...but I hope that this forum can expand my knowledge a little. Watching many YouTube videos of guys fixing electronics I have noticed that caps are a very common cause of failing electronics so I feel that this is a perfect forum to be a member of for someone that want to dive in to repairing electronic stuff. 😊

Hello all,
I go by Justice. I'm in my mid 30s and have been tearing apart and putting back together computers since I was around 8 years old. I've been learning Windows since I was about 4 or 5, mostly just using paint and playing minesweeper.
As I got older I started building gaming pcs for myself and friends, and searching for resolutions to software and hardware related issues. I am not formally educated in troubleshooting but I am quite proficient in finding the answers I am looking for quickly.
I struggle with premanufactured PCs and Laptops, because of the hurdles that the manufacturers put in your way to resolve issues, which is what brought me here (for the BIOs troubleshooting forum).
I am sure there's a fountain of knowledge I will learn from this place and I thank everyone who is here making it freely accessible for those of us still growing in our troubleshooting journey.
