I've been low to mid-level IT contract worker, performing a lot of IBM~Lenovo and Dell warranty repairs, at 'work',
and many out of warranty repairs at my home lab.
Now that I've supposedly reached retirement years, I'm now upgrading
and updating my home shop, so that I can pursue tech repairs independently.

Hi There!
stumbled over Badcaps and happy to be here.
I am a Child of the 80es, growed up with B&W Tv, used (old) Radios and were happy to spend my first earned Money into a Walkman and LPs
C64 and Amiga were my personal Drugs, also Electronics and tinkering around.
Electronics is still a Hobby, KiCad my new Friend.
Cheers

Hi! Very pleased to find this community on the web. I've just retired. With this new found freedom I am keen to pursue my own interest in my own workshop. One area I would like to dabble in is to learn and practice repairs on my electronics. I suspect most electronics stop working because of faults in the power supply etc. With help from the community, I hope to give these broken electronics a new lease of life!
