Am new to learning electronics repair. I have guy on Patreon I support to help me learn, along with you tube and forums like this. Current interest is learning to repair a no power Dell 1555 I got for cheap. Would like to learn to repair motherboards on a component level as a hobby and if/when I get good at it, for an extra income. Would eventually like to repair electronic pinball machines as a specialty and thought motherboard repair would be a good segway into that.

Hi I'm Snow
I am from New Zealand 🇳🇿 and started tinkering with electronics back in the 70's. My first "computer" was a Sinclair ZX81 with massive 1K RAM, after I was able to grasp BASIC I decided to upgrade my machine adding a 16K RAM pack which was the max. This addition slowed the processing down so much it was painful 😫... and it cost a staggering $300 NZD.
I am always looking for information while doing repairs for people and that's the reason for subscribing, I'm sure there will be heaps i can learn from this forum.
All the best from NZ's South Island!!

Hi everyone,
I'm an electronics enthusiast from France, and I've been working on various repair projects for quite some time. My interests include fixing vintage hardware, such as old motherboards, as well as modern devices like TVs and audio equipment. I'm currently experimenting with building custom circuits and working with audio setups, including equalizers and speaker systems.
Aside from repairs, I also enjoy tinkering with computers, trying out Linux distributions, and optimizing my setups for music production. I'm here to learn from others, share ideas, and get advice on challenging repairs.
Looking forward to participating and contributing to this great community!

Bonjour,
A bientôt.

Hello All, I'll be brief. I spend a lot of money on my passions, be it cars, computers, or electronics of every sort, therefore, I have none left to pay anyone to fix them. This means I have had to learn to do it myself and I am here in furtherance of that cause. Learning is my greatest superpower.
