OK, 42 yrs in the Electric Utility Industry: construction, maintenance of Overhead & Underground facilities including High Voltage system up to 500KV, operations & Hydro Dam operations.
Came here to figure out my LCD TV is going goofy.
Found a post: about 'sparklies' gonna try that first.
Said I only needed a voltmeter & screw driver .... my skill level ... but then it tells me to "get out my DMM" ?????? WTF Digital ????? Voltmeter???
In over my head on Step One.

I completely forgot about my C64!!! How sacrilegious of me!!! :oops: I beat ya Topcat.....I had the tape drive... Do you know what its like loading BC's Quest for Tires from tape???? It wasn't long before I got my first 1541 though.

Ahhhh...the memories......

I still have two C64s. I think I'll go looking for them. Maybe play some Mail Order Monsters or M.U.L.E.. :roll:

Well, I've spent most of my working life in component level electronic repair for everything from a scanning electron microscope (ran the electronic maintenance workshop for a University) down to a Sony walkman. My first PC was an Ohio Superboard, which pre-dated the Commodores by a couple of years. My favorite PC remains the Commodore Amiga - it was decades in front of everything else in it's day and still shines!
