joined the forum looking for assistance with an old LCD tv!
i'm new to electronics repair and looking to sharpen my skills as a hobbyist.

My name is Laurent. I am a mechanical engineer....living in France, and so far I have been fixing computers mostly to bring back old computers to an up to date machine(SSD, RAM, graphic cards, mechanical fix): like a Dell Dimension 9200 from 2006 running perfectly on Windows 10 or a 2013 Acer aspire V5 with broken housing...nothing extraordinary for most of you guys in this forum.
I have a next chalenge which is not realy mecanical...a corrupted Bios preventing a lenovo computer to boot. I have to flah it on the chip and this is how I ended up in this forum
I am working in a large electronic corporation, so in the same time I am not really afraid of software and hardware stuff
So thanks for letting me joining this forum ! I am looking forward to it !
