by estabilitoI have an ASUS TUF A16,
laptop board number FA617-PMV-GBM / 6050A3460902-MB-A02.
Laptop is turning on but stay on with no picture, cpu is getting hot but gpu not, i found online photo of board and im attaching it - on the photo in upper right corner under wi-fi slot i have 1.3 ohm on coil after injecting 0.8v only part of gpu is getting hot that's why im suspecting faulty gpu chip.
All other resistances looks fine.
My chip have marking: 215-163000117
do you know if 215-163000047 or 215-163000007 is compatible with this gpu to replace?... -
by Maxpower3Hello everyone.
Here is the bypass solution for several Lenovo ECs.
This has worked on many ECs.
Only works if password is contained in EC
I succeeded on many models

I shorten the LPC bus, with the LAD0:3 and Gnd.
you can use the dedicated ports where you connect directly to the track.
(Be careful, resistors may be missing on the path)
look at the diagrams
