It is foam double sided tape. This one

but i suspect it is thinner than original. I spent hours cleaning both surfaces and seems a good bond.. i didn't put small weight just pressed evenly aling side.

Am not sure what i do next as am not comfortable dismantling screen again due to risk of damaging screen or COF connections ،...

Any advice please? I have replaced the backlights, cleaned the screen from the glue and applied new double sided tape all round. After 3 weeks the screen detached as shown
Can anyone recommend a better approach please to solve this?

Hi,
I have this almost brand new Plasma was well stored. I would like to repair it for a friend of mine.

I have noticed that it works for few seconds then switches Off the Power_ On signal. Have disconnected boards and left maion board and power supply and still the same. The power supply with PS_ON and VA signals On stays on so it is not a problem in the power supply.
Any one met this problem in the past?...
