I am thinking this may be the issue.... so far I have had this running for approx. 30 hours plus on the low brightness setting. its OK... and its usable.... but it is just not like it was when it was new. "all Bright and Shiny"
SO with that said... I think I will tear this thing down this weekend and check out the Lamps and see what I can find.
Will take some pics while I am doing this too.
Also I think I need to do some reading on here concerning the lamps and a "how to" on checking...
Working on an ACER P235H. Works GREAT only if I keep the Brightness down to about 32... if it goes above 40... screen goes black. I have taken it apart and checked the caps, but they are not bulged. hard to see the name on the sides, so not sure what brand names these are... they are brown in color.
I have had this monitor running for about 15 hours and it is still on.. at the low brightness setting. I am thinking the CAPS are somewhat out of spec and if replaced, should allow me to raise the Brightness setting.
What does the forum think..... am I on the right track?
