@budm I attached a picture of the blue screen. I made some observations and tests before giving it back to the client. The blue screen does not change even if the tcon is plugged or unplugged. I concluded that it is the mainboard that is faulty. Most especially the scaler chip. The client does not have money for a mainboard so I gave it back to him. Sorry for the late reply. Thanks again....

Hi all, I need help with LG 32LE5500 TA LED TV. It only displays blue screen and nothing else works. When I touch the touch buttons they light up but nothing is seen on screen even with the remote controller its the same thing.

I'm BrownG. I have been visiting this forum since many years but did not feel the need to register, till I found out I could not view attached images.

After many years in computers alone, I found out that I'm getting more closer to power circuits, LCD TVs etc. lately. The knowledge here is outstanding. Keep it up guys.
