I've waited for a good 20 mins at least....

It constantly power on and off with these. Notebook is working with its original bios without any other problem except the malfunctioning keyboard.
Keyboard was working fine until the windows update , updated the bios....

No difference. The keyboard behaves the same.
We need to somehow make the MEC1515 accept the replaced io firmware from modified main bios. What a mess....

I'm experiencing similar problem with LA-K033P , device has 3 different models listed in the bios version. 0A23,0A24,0A25. After windows update, keyboard gone crazy. Right side of the KB presses multiple keys while the left side from the middle works fine.
How do i incorporate different EC versions into the original bios i dumped from the mainboard? Can you please share some information ? SMDFleaSMDFlea

Thats bad. I have 55 of SR2F1 they're perfectly fine. Does that mean that i can not use them on consumer boards 😞...

Thanks for the reply. Can you suggest any workaround for this spesific issue?
If you're referring cleaning the me region with factory me firmware , i've already done that....Last edited by wacd; 01-19-2024, 01:01 PM.

I've tried this on two completely different motherboards , no luck. Updated CPU microcode, transferred ME Region from one to other. Looks like i'm missing something.

SR2ZU To SR2F1 CPU replacement
Hello friends.
Has anyone ever try and succeed replacing a consumer grade CPU with something removed from a corporate one?
I have plenty of sr2f1 cpus that are %100 in working condition , ID like to use them in consumer laptops as replacements
Is it possible-compatible / bios-wise ?...

Re: Need Lenovo NM-c911 bios dump
You can't program the IT8227E through kb socket because pins are not routed. You have to solder pin to pin.Or desolder the IO and program it outside....

Re: Tongfang GM7MG0P doesn't boot, PCH replaced. Please help!
I do believe SR40B and SRJAU PCH's went through some Revisions which caused this diversity. It's very hard to find a pch that our highness Tong Fang likes. Bu i'm not so sure its the board itself causing the problems.
Nothing happens after pushing the power button , then the board powers up after 10-20 seconds , goes up to 0.35A then shuts off.
Pinpoint identification of the problem is this :
"PCH doesn't send Chipselect signal CS0# to SPI hence can't...
