Thanks again for the info. When you say lines going left right, do you mean the lines are shifting from right to left, ie moving across the screen. Or just the appearance of fixed horizontal lines?
Ill order the remote and let you know, hopefully this might help someone else in the future.
I also uploaded another picture, as you can see the lines are only in a certain spot....

Thanks for the reply. Based on the picture, do you agree that its probably NOT the panel and secondly, should I start by replacing the board or Tcon? Does one fail more than the other....Leave a comment:

Samsung LCD 52'' FXZA Horizontal White Lines in 1 section only, Scrap or Fix?
I did some research and paid a guy on justanswers for a firm diagnosis. I would like a second opinion before spending $100 on a new main board.
These white lines change to dots between levels when playing COD/ps3/hdmi. Is there any chance this issue is with the panel or do you agree with the tech this is probably a main board problem.
