Re: How to flash a Dell Bios
Figured I'd give this post a bump before I go and start building USB boot disks and trying out a few things

Re: How to flash a Dell Bios
I don't think Phoenix likes bin files or intel main boards.
When I try to do a backup it says: "Corrupted interface descriptors in the new BIOS file."
"Part Table Signature not found in the interface"

Re: How to flash a Dell Bios
There's not a programmatic way to flash the bios like a bios utility, or something similar to awdflash or uniflash for Intel?

How to flash a Dell Bios
I've got a Dell Latitude E6420 that I want to flash so that I unlock a few things. I got the .BIN files from here: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=41818
With those, how can I flash the bios? I'm not familiar with a tool that will allow me to flash it easily with bin files since the BIOS is Intel I believe.
A guide would be awesomehttps://I've got a Dell Latitude E64...those, how can

Re: How to disable Computrac in dell e6420.
This might not be the correct place to post my question. I have the same system E6420 Intel. Not quite the same problem. Computrace is "Activated" and greyed out in the BIOS - I fully own this laptop, Computrace gave me the runaround or flat out ignored me so I want to flash the bios and unlock everything. If I have the bin files posted above, how do I actually flash the bios either in Windows or via bootable USB drive?
Thanks for any help
