Thanks everyone, one more saved from the dump! Mine the left side was trashed.

The trick was to get the replacement transistors, the factory one burn out before you can pull the plug.

The right hand side was black when I pulled it’s cable, so I plugged it back and pulled the left, no bright lines but there was a problem....

I have backlight and sound, no display.

I have to take a vm to the tcon and see if I got bad tcon boards, also ordered some transistors just in case.

Working on one of these bad boys, no picture, did the flashlight test and nothing was there.

Replaced the tcon removing the right hand side connector, no v or anything. So I plugged it back and tried the left side, same thing, nothing.

2 tcons in, 1 new and 1 used. the transistors dont seem shorted and the the fuse is fine.

Replaced the lvds cables going to the main board, could I have a power supply problem going to the main board, hoping to scope out the cables but this thing is so big I'm working...

I'm new to the board but like fixing electronics as a hobby.

I got ahold of a Vizeo P552UI-B2 that the motherboard is bad. I know that because I put an eBay one in it and the TV works.

This is a UHD TV so I'm trying to figure out what went bad on the board. The 12v and 5v on the power supply is on, I have 3.32 on the led_on terminal.

When I plug the unit in the power light flashes and then stays on while the unit initializes but after that when I press the power button it does not boot up.

I found one fuse on the main board...

Hi, I'm from Ohio and have been fixing things on and off for the last 30 years or so.

Mostly without schematics but sometimes I need them. My tool of choice is a simple Vom.
