• Re: Samsung UE46B7000 Picture Flashing

Thanks Tom. I've seen some T-con boards for sale, same part number, but for 40" displays. Is there any difference?

Does anyone know the difference between the FRC Before DDR tests and FRC After DDR tests? What does it mean if the picture is faulty before but okay after? Re: Samsung UE46B7000 Picture Flashing

  • Samsung UE46B7000 Picture Flashing

Hi, I have a Samsung UE46B7020WW led tv. After being on for an hour or so the picture flashes on & off, sometimes showing a black & white chequered screen. It happens on all source inputs and the menu screen.

On service mode all 'FBE' & 'FRC Before DDR' test screens flash but the 'FRC after DDR' test screens are fine.

I've seen replacement T-con and Power boards on ebay but am not sure if one of these will cure the problem, or whether the display itself is faulty.

Any helpful advice would be great.

Hello Guys, I've always enjoyed repairing stuff, got my HNC in EE & now work as a Maintenance Eng. Have used this site over the years to repair monitors, but need some info now to repair my TV.
