Hi,
I've recently got a 32" (L32V12A-AU) Soniq, aussie model that I'm hoping to use in an arcade build, however it's slightly broken (which is why I have it).
I suspect its a main or video board, but hoping someone can confirm and let me know if it's worth bothering to try and fix it.
Powers on, standby light flashes as it boots up.
Backlight comes on, logo and startup tune load.
Logo then glitches, image splits horizontally with a green line between the two pieces
Logo flickers off, on and glitches again.
Screen goes blank, backlight...

Hi
New member, programmer by trade but hoping to build an arcade machine and so have embarked on trying to resurrect various old(ish) tv's.
I know some basic electronics, but I never got into it the same as computing so hoping to get some advice.
I hail from the colder part of Australia (Melbourne) where we're famous for.... well rain mostly.
