Re: The Dreaded Clicking Sound And No Power On Samsung pn59d530a3fxza
I bought a power supply board off eBay for $40 that was being sold as possibly working but untested. When it didn't fix the problem I gave up and sold the TV for $50 on craigslist.

Difference Between BN44-00445a and BN44-00445c Power Supply
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a BN44-00445a and BN44-00445c power supply board? From the pictures I've seen they appear to be identical. I have a Samsung 59" plasma pn59d530a3fxza that needs a new one. The bad one is a BN44-00445c but is proving to be hard to find where the BN44-00445a is more readily available.

Rodeo9ine can you post pics? The capacitors should be bulging or leaking if they're bad. On ebay the BN44-0045C boards don't last long. I did find them on another site but if ljintexas has one I'm going to grab it from him.

Please bear with me, I have very little experience troubleshooting at the component level. I did not find any bulging or leaking capacitors but it appears that one of the transformers is damaged. My problem is that I can't find any information with what I believe to be the correct part number. The power...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello all! My name is Mike and I'm from Lakeland, Florida. About a week ago I pulled a Samsung plasma TV out of someone's garbage and decided to see if I could fix it. I have about 18 years of IT experience but very little of that is at the component level. I came across this forum while troubleshooting and hope that someone here might be able to steer me in the right direction. With any luck I'll have a more detailed post up soon. Thanks!
