Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 flashes white once to blank
Unfortunately I don't have a manual for that DMM, I've had it for too long. I'll keep googling to see what I can find, and thanks for finding a replacement! I had spoken to digikey but they didn't have any in stock, and they quoted an alternative that also wasn't in stock... go figure.
Worst case scenario is the entire board is $30.. Guess that's not too bad, considering.
Cheers!

Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 flashes white once to blank
After further investigation .. they are "AO D452 n-channel FET" (thanks to https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=16807) but can't find the datasheet or a suitable replacement if necessary. Hope someone can help!!Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 flashes whit...ecessary. Hope

Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 flashes white once to blank
OK so I tried to test these with my DMM, EQUUS #4320. From what I've read, I have to arm the mosfet by holding the negative probe to the middle drain, and positive to the gate (left). Then switch out the positive and move it to the source (right). I get inconsistent readings when on the diode setting - what is 'normal', or do I need a better DMM to test these?
Also, do I need to remove it from the circuit? Would a 9V mosfet tester from ebay be a good investment?

Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 flashes white once to blank
OK, I think these are the ones you're looking for: On the inverter board with all of the external connections, there are three mosfets, two close to each other at the top right of the third picture?
They appear to have an (A) logo with D452A on it, underneath that BA0K35
The third one near the cable connector says UTC L01117AL and 50A01NBC2

Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 flashes white once to blank
The voltage when powered on goes up to 3.2, then drops to nothing, then a few seconds later goes back up to 3.2 and holds steady at 3.2v. Are you thinking this could be two separate components? No image and no backlight? On previous screens I've still seen the image, even if the backlight doesn't work ... this time no such luck.

Checked voltages on the rear of the power board;

all of the 12v's check out OK, the DIM and BL_ON come in at 3.2 . LAMP_ERR has no voltage, 5VSB shows 4.8v and the AC_OFF_DET shows .2vRe: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 flashes whit...17<br />

Dynex dx-22ld150a11 flashes white once to blank
It's the same make and model as this post, it does a white flash then goes to black (not two seconds), then you wait a few seconds and it does another white flash and goes to black. I'm getting nothing on the screen period, audio works fine, dvd player works fine.
Capacitors pass visual inspection. Fuse appears OK.
Not sure what the resistance values of the primary transformer should be..or if I should even be looking at it. It's the white one in picture 2 of the above post (this...

Re: No power on a Acer AL1916
After resoldering the bad solder points and checking all the caps, I too did this and managed to get it working. Cheap part, easy fix. PlainBill, where do we send beer?...

I've uploaded some better pictures at the above address, but for some reason I can't find my memory card or card reader for my actual digital camera, so I'm stuck with my blackberry pictures. I was unable to find a schematic, either.Re: Sony Bravia LCD KDL-32L4000<br /..., so I'm stuck

Re: Sony Bravia LCD KDL-32L4000
No problem Wizard, I appreciate the response. I will take better pictures this evening and upload them. As for the PWR_ERR_DET, keep in mind my TV has a different board than Kevin's does - but I will measure the voltage output on the AC Input board, and try to find a schematic for that TV.

Re: Sony Bravia LCD KDL-32L4000
I have the same TV, but my problem is the relay keeps clicking in and out. I don't see any visible bad caps, and the voltage out, where it's supposed to be 80v, goes up for a few seconds, I hear the click of the relay, and it drops back down to 0v. The actual power supply board is model PSE-324 (1-468-721-1) .. I read what you have above, must be a different PSU board in my TV, because the connectors out are CN23 and CN33.
I've attached pictures, because quite frankly, I'm lost. Usually I can just point out the bad caps and replace...

Re: Problem with Viewsonic VG920 lcd monitor
Hi Everyone! My name is Brendan. I work for an IT company and I've been replacing capacitors for a little while, but only recently moved into actual troubleshooting for LCDs, which is a little more involved for me than just looking to see if there are any blown caps.
Let me know if this cpu reset worked - I am running into the same issue on an Acer AL1916 - it has the same 715G1558-1 Controller, but there were two caps that weren't reading voltages properly - the two large ones, reading 25v 100uF, in the row of 5. Actually, mine...
